‘Design collective Stortplaats van Dromen transformed a series of entries with innovative use of wasted materials.
The designer from Stortplaats van Dromen work preferably with wasted materials. Loes Glandorff calls this strategy Transpair, a combination of repair and transformation. Materials were harvested locally and inhabitants could donate objects. [...] As a result every entry has its own identity. In the Oase plant objects are placed that radiate with a soft green glow. Every inhabitant can donate a plant and they are cared for by a neighbour. [...] In the flat V1 there wasn’t much response to begin with, but when the designers created a light sculpture enthousiasm struck. Eventually several inhabitants joined in the painting. [...] The artworks can be viewed in the next ten years.
